Iberian Encounters of Contemporary Textile Art

Contextile | Ideias Emergentes and the Associacion de Creadores Textiles de Madrid, in partnership with the Institute of Design of Guimarães, organized the first Iberian encounters of textile art, from 20 july to 30 august 2013, in continuity of the reflection and debate (and in sequence) of Contextile 2012, where artists and Spanish partners participated.

The project aimed to bring together creatives and artists from the Iberian Peninsula in two events and in two moments, Madrid and Guimarães. Ideias Emergentes organized, produced the activities, Exhibitions, Debate, Market and it was also responsible for the graphic design and communication of the event.
